One-on-one Coaching:
It's about feeling seen and heard.
Having an accountability partner.
Sitting across from someone that knows you are already whole and complete. Just as you are.

Here are just some of the things that people bring to coaching.

You’re not alone. All of us can...

  • Experience a disconnect between our inner selves and who we present to the world.

  • Have blind spots, unconscious beliefs and self-defeating behavior patterns that lead us to repeatedly seek out and stay in unhealthy relationships and situations.

  • Find transitions challenging (eg. Job change, promotion, relocation, aging, divorce, leaving school, etc.).

  • Feel immobilized by decisions and struggle to move forward.

  • Get overwhelmed by “shoulds” and “have to’s” and forget that we have choices. (We need more “want to’s”!)

  • Forget what fun and creativity feel like and miss the incredible wisdom of our intuition.

  • Struggle with energy, which can chip away at what even feels possible

Coaching is about making the unconscious, conscious; becoming aware of how we get in our own way sometimes.

It's about making choices feel clearer, the impossible feel possible and moving forward with your goals.

“Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom.”

- Aristotle

Life Coaching

Through 60 min. one-on-one sessions, I help clients explore those sneaky, quiet, often powerful things inside us that keep us stalled, tell us we’re ‘not good enough’ and nudge us to repeat familiar, negative, self-defeating patterns in our lives. (See above list for some of the things people bring to coaching.)

As a certified Core Energy Coach, I utilize the Energy Leadership™ Index (ELI) (iPEC) to help clients get a clear picture of their current energy, overall mindset and how they’re showing up in their lives. When appropriate, I also use the Gallup® CliftonStrengths® assessment (Gallup) to look at innate strengths.

Both tools can help people connect to their internal sources of energy and strengths, creating foundations for making sustainable change in their lives.

In addition, my coaching process incorporates my background in transpersonal psychology (a wholistic approach to change), a range of experiential tools and exercises, and lots of thought-provoking questions.

Coaching is about recognizing internal blocks and worn out “stories”, facing off with that silent but painful "I'm not good enough" internal message constantly interrupting you, and challenging limited beliefs about yourself and the world.

My coaching style is laid back and empathetic (with some humor thrown in!).

You are the expert on you. I am the expert on the coaching process. I’ve got your back. I’ll stay in the space with you, with complete faith in you.

I’ll hold you accountable to your goals. (And when appropriate, I’ll offer resources and suggestions.)

The majority of my coaching is done via video or phone. (For clients in the Atlanta area, face-to-face may be possible.)

[Note: Energy Leadership Index and CliftonStrengths debriefs are 90 min. sessions.]

Career Coaching

Work is a fundamental part of self-expression, closely tied to life purpose and our connection with others as well as with the larger world.

So when there’s a disconnect between what you’re “doing” and who you’re “being” in your work, it can have a significant on impact on your life.

Career coaching is about reconnecting with yourself, discovering what gives you energy (or depletes it), and exploring and clarifying what you want most.

Whether you're starting from scratch, feeling stuck, aiming to advance, or looking to make a major change, career coaching can help you identify your “North Star,” as Martha Beck puts it; reconnect you to your inner compass.

Together we’ll explore what gives you fuel, where you feel most connected to WHO you really are, and how to start exploring next steps and making sustainable, professional choices grounded in wholeness, satisfaction and fulfillment.

Beyond that, if you would like support on the logistics of the job search process, I’m here to help with those pieces as well (i.e., polishing your resume, cover letter or LinkedIn profile, interviewing prep, navigating the job search process and assessing a job offer).

The majority of my coaching is done remotely. (For clients in the Atlanta area, face-to-face may be possible.)
